The most basic format – you pick one outcome from a single match. Low risk, easy to understand, and ideal for beginners just getting started with betting.
Suitable for beginnersCombine two or more selections in a single bet slip. All selections must be correct to win, but the multiplied returns on offer are far higher than a single bet.
High returnsPlace bets while the match is in progress. Odds shift in real time according to what's happening on the pitch – the most dynamic and exciting format on kiss988.
Real timeThe stronger team is given a negative goal handicap to level the playing field. This format eliminates the possibility of a draw and is hugely popular among Malaysian football fans.
Most popularPredict whether the total goals or points in a match will be higher or lower than the value set by the platform. No need to pick a winner — just predict the overall total.
Easy to understandPredict the exact score at full time or half time. Odds are very high due to the difficulty of getting it right — a favourite format for those who love a challenge.
Highest oddsPlace bets specifically on first-half results only. Half-time markets sometimes offer more attractive odds compared to full-match markets.
Advanced strategiesPredict which player will score in a match — first goalscorer, anytime, or last. A popular choice for EPL and Champions League matches.
FootballPredict the league or tournament champion before the season begins. Early odds are typically higher than those for regular match betting, with results known at the end of the season.

Online betting is fundamentally the activity of predicting or choosing the outcome of a sporting event or game, with money on the line. If your prediction is correct, you receive a return based on the set odds. If not, you lose the amount wagered.
At kiss988, the entire process takes place in a secure and transparent digital environment. From registering an account, making a deposit, choosing a market, to receiving your returns – everything can be done within minutes without going anywhere. The kiss988 platform is designed to make this process as straightforward as possible, especially for Malaysian users trying online betting for the first time.
Among all bet types, Asian Handicap is the most popular among kiss988 users in Malaysia. It differs from standard betting by eliminating the draw outcome – you simply choose between two sides.
How it works: the stronger team is assigned a negative handicap (e.g. −0.5 goals or −1 goal), while the weaker team receives a positive handicap. This levels the playing field and balances the market. For example, if you back Team A at −0.5, Team A must win for your bet to succeed. If the match ends in a draw or Team A loses, your bet loses.
Fractional handicaps such as −0.25 and −0.75 are also available on kiss988, allowing a portion of the stake to be returned in certain situations. This format is often considered fairer and offers better value to players.

An enjoyable betting experience starts with the right approach. Here are some basic tips to help you make smarter decisions:
Many new kiss988 users wonder about the difference between sports betting and casino games. The answer is straightforward: sports betting involves predicting the outcome of real-world sporting events — such as football matches, badminton, or the NBA. Odds are set based on probability and global markets.
Casino games — such as baccarat, blackjack, roulette, and slots — use a random number generator (RNG) or live dealers, where outcomes are determined entirely by the system or cards dealt. Both categories carry different risk profiles and gameplay styles, and kiss988 offers both to cater to every preference.
Security is the top priority at kiss988. All betting activity and financial transactions are protected by industry-standard SSL encryption. Your personal information is never shared with third parties without your consent. To learn more about how we handle your data, please read the Privacy Policy kiss988.
We also strongly encourage all members to bet responsibly. Online betting should be a fun entertainment activity – not a source of financial or emotional stress. If you need help or guidance on managing your betting habits, visit the Responsible Gaming us.
Reminder: Online betting carries financial risk. Please bet within your means. This platform is for users aged 18 and above only.
